SF author, critic, and poet Thomas M. Disch, born 1940, died July 4, 2008, of suicide in his New York City apartment. 一報を聞いた時、「68歳ってまだそんな歳じゃないよなぁ」って思ったんですが、そうですか、自殺ですか…。

実はサンリオの３冊、「キャンプ・コンセントレーション」「３３４」「歌の翼に」が未読です。追悼の意味からも、なんとか手に入れて読みたいと思ってます。
